Why I do what I do...

Growing up in Deep Cove you have little choice but to be a pretty active kid. I always considered myself a jack of all trades and a master of none when it came to sports… having grown up mountain biking, playing soccer, skiing/snowboarding, rugby, you name it I’ve probably played it. From the age of 6-15 I did Tae Kwon Do, later achieving my 3rd Degree Black Belt. Martial Arts not only taught me what discipline, commitment, and respect looked like but it instilled in me the importance of strength and movemnt. From the age of 14 I began Crossfit, it was fun up until the point I had a pretty substantial injury… this injury led me to learning how to workout on my own and finding the joy of the gym. ​

 

For the longest time I've always been fascinated by how things work. Ever since I was a little kid I always enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together to have deeper understanding. Alongside that, I've always loved being with, and sharing experiences with people. Put those together with a love for Health & Fitness, and you get a personal trainer who wants to help people heal from injury and get stronger in every facet of life.

 

Building strength is the ultimate tool to combat the toll time takes on us. It is inevitable that we all age, but  that doesn't mean we have to feel and act like it. Functional strength and conditioning is the magic pill that helps us age with grace and resilience. Helping people achieve this is what brings me so much joy and fulfillment and keeps me motivated to continue doing what I do

  Getting "in shape" isn't as simple as working out a few times per week for a couple months. Health and Fitness is a lifestyle, habits, daily ways of being that help you be the healthiest version of yourself and it's something that I am here to help you learn! I'm here to help identify your unique fitness and lifestyle goals, design a program that fits your needs and lead you through every workout.
